Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and establishing both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product requirements. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain and enhance platform stability and performance, while adapting to evolving technological needs and project demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize platform performance and automation processes.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning.
- Experience in designing and implementing automation pipelines for environment setup and configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with scripting and configuration management tools to support automation efforts.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
