Summary:
As a 3rd Level Network Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you are
responsible for designing, implementing, and operating
secure, scalable, and globally standardized network
services across the enterprise. You ensure the reliability
and security of LAN, WiFi, and IPsec connectivity for
warehouses, distribution centers, and branch offices
across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. With your deep
technical expertise, you serve as the escalation authority
for complex network challenges, drive lifecycle and
configuration standardization, and contribute to the
continuous enhancement of the global network
architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Network Operations & Engineering
- Manage and optimize Enterprise WiFi infrastructures across global warehouse and office locations.
- Lead the rollout of centralized configuration and update management for branch office LAN environments.
- Ensure stable and secure IPsec connectivity and manage MPLS leased lines, including vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and change execution.
Security & Access Control
- Own the global implementation and operational governance of Network Access Control (802.1X) in close collaboration with local IT teams.
- Contribute to risk assessments and support the enforcement of global security standards across LAN/WiFi/IPsec environments.
Lifecycle & Change Management
- Plan, test, and deploy firmware and configuration updates for
standardized LAN hardware with a focus on reliability and
minimal downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standards, design guidelines, and operational runbooks.
Escalation & Collaboration
- Serve as the 3rd level escalation point for critical LAN/WiFi/IPsec
incidents, performing in-depth analysis and driving long-term
corrective actions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation supporting a 24/7 operations
model.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking,
including switching, routing, and transport protocols.
- Expert-level proficiency in operating and troubleshooting large
scale LAN and WiFi environments.
- Solid experience with 802.1X, NAC, and NAT in distributed
enterprise environments.
- Proactive, service-oriented, and capable of engaging with
stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Practical experience with: ExtremeCloud IQ and HPE Aruba
Central (WiFi management), Micro Focus NOM (LAN
management), Cisco Firepower (IPsec/VPN), Aruba ClearPass
(Access Control), and MPLS provider coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured,
hands-on mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Proactive, service-oriented, and capable of engaging with
stakeholders across regions and functions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
