Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions align with project goals and client expectations. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications are delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain smooth project progress.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Document design specifications and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other modules such as Materials Management and Finance.
- Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting SAP SD related issues to ensure system stability and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
