Summary:
As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves thoroughly validating software solutions by executing detailed manual tests aligned with specified requirements and user stories. This role includes designing comprehensive test cases, meticulously identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with various delivery teams. The objective is to ensure that each release is dependable and meets user expectations, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of the software product. Collaboration and communication are key throughout the process to maintain high standards and support continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Good To Have Skills: Automated Testing, JavaScript.
- Experience in designing and executing detailed manual test cases to validate software functionality.
- Strong ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools and techniques to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance best practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
