Collaboration with different stakeholders and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and responsiveness to evolving project demands.We are seeking a skilled SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
Consultant with hands-on experience in end to-end S/4HANA implementation projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SAP TM Implementation & Solution Design:
- Design and implement Global Templates for SAP S/4HANA TM solutions across multiple geographies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, EWM, GTS, PC, FI) to ensure seamless integration
- Functional Specification Documentation to cover all the development objects (RICEFW)
- Configuration & System Integration :
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, aligning SAP TM capabilities with business requirements.
- Configure Freight Units, Freight Orders, Transportation Cockpit, and Freight Costing.
- Define and optimize Charge Management, Freight Settlement, and Freight Cost Distribution.
- Implement Carrier Selection, Tendering, and Track & Trace functionalities.
- Integrating TM with GTS, PC, EWM (ASR), LO and 3rd Party Applications
- Handling of TM Master Data Object – TM Zone, Lane, Schedule, Resource and Freight Agreement.
- Stakeholder Management & Workshops:
- Provide functional and technical guidance to onshore/offshore development teams.
- Engage with stakeholders to drive Change Management and User Training
- Testing & Deployment:
- Develop test scripts and lead unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Support data migration, cutover planning, and hypercare activities.
- Work closely with business users and IT teams for successful deployment.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- 5+ years of SAP TM experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation from the start.
- Strong understanding of SAP TM End-to-End Processes (Planning, Execution, Charge Calculation, Settlement).
- Hands-on experience in Configuring Freight Orders, Freight Units, Freight Settlement Documents, and Carrier Collaboration (BN4L).
- Experience in Functional Specification Documentation and handling of TM Master Data.
- Integration expertise with SD, MM, EWM, GTS, PC and FI-CO.
- Proficiency in SAP TM Master Data (Business Partners, Means of Transport, Resources, Locations, and Rates Management).
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps and UI5 for SAP TM functionalities.
- Knowledge of BOPF, PPF, and BRF+ for TM-related enhancements (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware technologies.
- Competence in performance tuning and optimization of software components.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
