As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges and delivering timely solutions to maintain smooth operational workflows. The position demands continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure system reliability and performance, often collaborating with different teams to address complex problems and enhance system functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
- Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements to improve overall business processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance on technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining critical business applications to ensure high availability.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business process workflows related to production planning and control.
- Capability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
