Role Summary
The EBS DevSecOps / Patching Analyst is responsible for supporting the technical stability, security, and compliance of Oracle E-Business Suite environments, with a primary focus on EBS patching, security scripts, and environment management. Key Responsibilities
Oracle EBS Patching
Support Oracle EBS application and technology patching activities, including CPUs and security fixes.
Assist with patch impact analysis, coordination, and validation across environments.
Support post-patching verification and issue resolution to ensure system stability.
Security & Compliance Support
Support execution and monitoring of EBS security scripts and security configuration checks.
Assist in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in line with Oracle security guidance.
Support audit and compliance activities related to EBS security controls.
Environment Management
Support environment management across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD instances.
Assist with environment refresh coordination, configuration checks, and access readiness.
Monitor environment health and support incident resolution related to technical issues.
Change & Incident Management
Follow defined change-management procedures for patching and technical changes.
Provide L2 technical support for patching or environment-related incidents.
Coordinate with functional, DBA, and infrastructure teams during planned maintenance.
Documentation & Process Improvement
Maintain patching logs, runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patching efficiency and security posture.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and controls.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS technical support.
Strong working knowledge of:
Oracle EBS patching (CPUs, security fixes)
EBS security scripts and configuration checks
Environment management
Experience supporting technical operations in ERP environments. jobs.smart...uiters.com ,
Platform Knowledge
Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x architecture.
Familiarity with Oracle-recommended security and patching practices.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple technical tasks in a controlled operations environment.
Good to Have
Exposure to ITIL / change-management processes.
Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews.
Familiarity with Oracle support processes and SR handling.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Applications Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
