Summary:
As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the structure necessary for the application. This role includes modeling the data architecture, planning how data will be stored efficiently, and ensuring seamless integration across various components. The position requires a thoughtful approach to organizing data to support application functionality and scalability, collaborating with different stakeholders to align data strategies with project goals, and continuously refining data models to meet evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Function as the Lead Data Architect for a small, simple project/proposal or as a team lead for medium/large sized project or proposal
2. Discuss specific Big data architecture and related issues with client architect/team (in area of expertise)
3. Experience in SaaS and PaaS Offerings of Fabric
4. Worked in implementation of Gen AI/Agentic AI use case in Fabric
5. Knowledge in LLM and Prompt engineering, AI foundry
6. Should have worked in Data governance Solution
7. Analyze and assess the impact of the requirements on the data and its lifecycle
8. Lead Big data architecture and design medium-big Cloud based, Big Data and Analytical Solutions using Lambda architecture.
9. Breadth of experience in various client scenarios and situations
10. Experienced in Big Data Architecture-based sales and delivery
11. Thought leadership and innovation
12. Lead creation of new data assets & offerings
13. Experience in handling OLTP and OLAP data workloads
Technical Experience:
1. Strong Experience working in Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse working on Shortcuts and Copilots..
2. Good to have exposure or experience in Data science and Real time analytics .
3. Strong experience in Azure is preferred with hands-on experience in two or more of these skills : Azure Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks with PySpark / Scala / SparkSQL, Purview / Unity catalog .
4. Exp in one or more Real-time/Streaming technologies including: Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Time Series Insights, etc.
5. Candidate should have deep knowledge in Python, LLM & Open AI Foundry
6. Github Copilot experience is an added advantage
7. Exp in handling medium to large Big Data implementations
8. Candidate must have 10-12 years of IT experience and around 5 years of extensive Big data experience (design + build)
9. Architect for a medium sized client delivery project
Professional Experience:
1. Should be able to drive the technology design meetings, propose technology design and architecture
2. Should have excellent client communication skills
3. Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills
Educational Qualification:
1. Must have: BE/BTech/MCA
2. Good to have: ME/MTech
