Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, coordinating integrations with other systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while balancing the requirements and limitations imposed by both business needs and vendor capabilities. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead efforts to establish and enforce best practices and standards for platform configuration and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and deployment of software releases.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Continuously monitor system performance and implement improvements to maintain high availability and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of platform configuration, customization, and integration techniques within ServiceNow environments.
- Experience in managing software release cycles and deployment processes.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business and vendor requirements.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to packaged or Software as a Service applications.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
