Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous evaluation of system performance are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud platform performance to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding cloud platform operations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in JBOSS Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Websphere Portal Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and their integration with on-premises systems.
- Experience in deploying and managing platform environments in cloud settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud application deployments.
- Familiarity with security best practices and performance tuning in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in JBOSS Administration.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
