Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring the smooth operation of applications, and continuously improving system performance. You will engage in proactive monitoring and analysis, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the systems you support. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance service delivery and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring tools to enhance system observability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SRE Observability.
- Strong understanding of incident management and response processes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their observability features.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and reporting.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SRE Observability.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
