The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The position emphasizes the use of contemporary development methodologies and collaborative practices to meet unique business requirements, ensuring that solutions are both robust and adaptable to evolving needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAS Analytics, SAS Data Integration, SAS Platform.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and batch processing.
- Ability to analyze and optimize legacy code for improved performance and maintainability.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues within mainframe systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
