Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed are efficient, reliable, and tailored to support business objectives. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving requirements are also key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in application design and functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Advanced Compensation, Workday Talent Management.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and best practices within enterprise environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday modules to meet complex business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday applications efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect Workday with other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in analyzing business processes to recommend and implement effective software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
