Summary:
The L4 Lead is a T-shaped professional who combines deep technical expertise with business acumen. You will own the Zscaler service end-to-end, managing both the technology roadmap and the team that supports it. You are responsible for the service's ROI and its alignment with the organization's Zero Trust strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Thought Leadership: Define the multi-year roadmap for SASE (Secure Access Service Edge). Evaluate new features (e.g., ZIA Posture, Deception, or Risk360) and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Service Delivery: Act as the primary point of contact for the Business. Define SLAs/OLAs, manage the operational budget, and handle high-priority executive escalations.
Team & People Management: Manage a team of L1/L2/L3 engineers. Handle hiring, performance reviews, and mentorship. Create a training matrix to ensure the team stays certified.
Vendor Management: Work closely with Zscaler Account Teams and TAMs (Technical Account Managers). Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and influence the product roadmap based on company needs.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure the Zscaler environment meets global compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR). Oversee the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for all major security changes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Architecture: Proven ability to design Zero Trust architectures for complex, global enterprises (50k+ users).
Strategic Reporting: Ability to use Zscaler Insights and ZDX data to create Executive Dashboards that show risk reduction and user experience trends.
Crisis Management: Ability to lead technical task forces during major security incidents or outages.
Additional Information:
8 -12 years in IT Security, with 3+ years in a Lead or Managerial capacity.
