Summary: As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, implementing solutions using standard tools and APIs, and ensuring that the applications perform optimally while meeting user needs. You will also monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance functionality and user experience, all while maintaining a focus on compatibility and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure minimal downtime. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in application engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool. - Experience with low-code platforms and APIs. - Strong understanding of application configuration and support processes. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Familiarity with system stability and performance monitoring tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. Core Technical Skills for MDG Finance Data Modeling (MDG Framework): Expertise in modifying standard MDG data models (Entity Types, Attributes, Relationships) and creating custom data models. Data Models: Financial Objects (Company Code, Profit Center, Cost Center, GL Account) UI Modeling (FPM): Configuring and customizing user interfaces using Floor Plan Manager (FPM) for Web Dynpro ABAP, including customizing search screens, form designs, and overview pages. Data Replication Framework (DRF): Configuring the replication of master data from the MDG hub to target systems (ECC or S/4HANA) using SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) or IDocs. Process Modeling (Workflow/BRF+): Designing and implementing Business Rules Framework plus (BRF+) for validation and derivation rules. Developing SAP Business Workflows (Rule-based Workflow) for change request approvals. Data Validation and Derivation: Implementing complex validation logic using BRF+ or ABAP BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) to ensure data quality. GL Account Governance: Deep understanding of Chart of Accounts, Company Code data, and Cost Element configurations. Cost Center/Profit Center: Managing hierarchies and group structures. Financial Objects: Knowledge of Cost Elements, Account Groups, and Financial Reporting structures
