Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions you develop are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: What You Bring: -Expertise in SAP functionality with hands-on experience in SAP MM or SD modules. -In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and SD, including configuration changes, system architecture, and integration with other modules. -Experience in IS Retail, FI, CO, PM, POSDTA, Revenue Posting, QIM, QM, and Ariba is considered an asset. -Basic understanding of ABAP language and familiarity with the ABAP Development Workbench. Capability to establish guidelines, policies, and standards to ensure consistent and stable implementation of SAP Retail solutions. -Proficiency in translating abstract and complex information into clear, actionable materials and design proposals that are easy to comprehend. -A strong focus on Root Cause Analysis and User Experience to identify gaps and recommend effective solutions. -Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Ability to design and implement scalable software architectures. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Retail. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
