Project Role Description : Lead a team of engineers that develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Ensure teams are delivering engineering solutions on time, at the right quality and cost. Work across engineering specializations; including manufacturing, electrical or mechanical engineering, structural and stress design, qualification, configuration, and technical management. Assemble resources to deliver engineering or construction projects.

Summary: As an Engineering Services Lead, you will oversee a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to crafting innovative technical solutions that address complex challenges and align with business goals. Your typical day will involve coordinating project timelines, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering collaboration among various engineering disciplines, including manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering. You will play a pivotal role in resource assembly for engineering and construction projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery while maintaining a focus on cost management and quality assurance. Roles & Responsibilities: Evaluate in-service structural damage on aircraft structures and propose compliant repair solutions in line with OEM standards and airworthiness requirements. Develop and validate structural repair designs and substantiation using Airbus methodologies, approved allowable, and engineering tools. Perform static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance (F&DT) assessments to support repair feasibility and continued airworthiness. Create and review repair drawings, analytical substantiation, technical reports, and engineering dossiers for regulatory and OEM approval. Develop and validate analytical models using hand calculations and FEM, as applicable to repair substantiation. Collaborate closely across design, stress, and certification teams to ensure repair feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance. Support fleet engineering activities, including damage trend analysis and recommendations for design or operational improvements. Coordinate with OEM and internal stakeholders for clarifications, approvals, and technical alignment. Provide technical leadership during critical design and stress reviews, guiding the team through complex repair decisions, coordinating with OEM and internal stakeholders, and ensuring robust, compliant, and timely outcomes. Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation with high quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and process optimization in repair engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: Bachelor s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (Master s preferred for senior roles). 6–12 years of experience in aircraft structural repair design and/or stress analysis, preferably focused on aircraft structures. Strong understanding of aircraft structural behavior, materials, fastener design, and repair practices. Knowledge of static strength, fatigue life estimation, and damage tolerance principles. Proficiency in relevant tools such as: o Design: CATIA o Stress/Analysis: ISAMI, Mathcad, PATRAN (or equivalent FEM tools) Experience with engineering documentation and OEM systems such as Tech Request, ICARUS, Airbus World. Familiarity with EASA regulations, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), and OEM guidelines (Airbus preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Prior experience in MRO, airline engineering support, or OEM repair environments is desirable. Exposure to Airbus repair tools, standards, or methodologies is a strong advantage. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Aircraft Structural Analysis. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
