Summary: We are seeking an 4-8yrs experienced Infrastructure Firewall (FortiGate, Checkpoint, PaloAlto) Expert to design, implement, and manage enterprise firewall security solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in one or more above mentioned firewalls, network security, and infrastructure protection. This role involves configuring security policies, monitoring network traffic, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Fortinet FortiGate & PaloAlto firewalls across enterprise environments. - Configure firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), Web Filtering, and Application Control. - Optimize security rules and policies to enhance performance and security. - Monitor network traffic and firewall logs for security threats, intrusions, and anomalies. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and firewall hardening. - Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigations. - Troubleshoot firewall connectivity, policy conflicts, and performance issues. - Work closely with the SOC, IT, and Cloud teams to ensure security best practices. - Secure hybrid infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud networks. - Maintain proper documentation of firewall rules, change management, and security policies. - Use FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized firewall management, reporting, and analytics. - Automate firewall rule updates and log analysis to enhance security efficiency. Technical Expertise - Hands-on experience with FortiGate, PaloAlto, Checkpoint Firewalls. - Strong knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, NAT, Routing, VLANs, and ACLs. - Experience with Fortinet Security Fabric, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Panaroma and FortiAuthenticator. - Understanding of Zero Trust Security, Secure Web Gateway, and Micro-Segmentation. - Experience in security auditing, log analysis, and SIEM integrations. Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory) - Fortinet NSE 4/NSE 5/NSE 7 (Highly Preferred). - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
