Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing effective solutions to meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the broader system. Time is also dedicated to maintaining existing applications, implementing enhancements, and developing new features to improve overall performance and user experience. Collaboration with different teams and stakeholders is a regular part of the work, ensuring alignment and integration across projects while managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and software quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Order Promisor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in software design and development.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Order Promisor.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
