Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in C++ Programming Language.
- Strong knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting techniques in complex software environments.
- Experience with software lifecycle management and version control systems.
- Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to diagnose issues effectively.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in C++ Programming Language.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
