Summary: As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will oversee the comprehensive delivery of programs or projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your typical day will involve defining project scopes, monitoring the execution of deliverables, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders to effectively manage expectations, address issues, and achieve desired outcomes. You will engage with team members to foster collaboration and ensure that all aspects of the project are progressing as planned, while also adapting to any changes that may arise throughout the project lifecycle. Agile Coach (ENGINE IT) Location: Bengaluru (4 Days office, 1 Day WFH) Function: IT Work timing: Primarily IST with some overlap to US time zones for global meetings and leadership syncs Role Purpose As an Agile Coach, you will harmonize diverse agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) across product teams, embed Chevron’s agile guardrails, and raise delivery maturity by coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams. You will understand existing practices across multiple teams and then also align with Chevron Agile team’s recommended best practices as well Data maintenance and outcome metrics. You will govern ADO data quality and ways-of-working, and build/curate Power BI dashboards that surface flow metrics and portfolio health for leaders. The outcome is uniform, disciplined agile delivery and transparent, data-driven reporting aligned to enterprise standards (ADO usage/visibility and agile guardrails). Key Responsibilities Standardize & Coach • Translate Chevron’s agile guardrails & best practices into practical team standards for Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe ceremonies, artifacts, and cadences. • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams to drive self-management, flow, quality, and predictable value delivery. • Promote an Agile Mindset and fit-for-purpose framework adoption. ADO Boards governance & data quality • Ensure all work is visible and managed in ADO, with disciplined use of Epics/Features/Stories. • Implement ADO Standards 2.0 for work item design, status models, ownership, and value categorization. Metrics & Power BI reporting • Define and institutionalize agile flow metrics and delivery health views. • Apply Power BI best practices to create trustworthy, self-serve delivery analytics. Outcomes & Success Measures • Uniform ways of working across different teams are evidenced by ADO Dashboards and metrics • ADO data quality reaches target thresholds enabling reliable automated reporting • Uptick in Top Priority work assignment over period of time for ENGINE TDC in GPMO report • Improved flow metrics visible for all teams in Power BI delivery dashboards. • Coaching coverage: X teams supported; Y Scrum Masters mentored. Required Qualifications • 10–15 years in software/digital delivery with 4+ years as an Agile Coach. • Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards: deep, hands-on experience. • Power BI: practical experience building delivery/flow dashboards. • Demonstrated success in organizational change coaching for a global organization. • Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation, and data storytelling skills • Flexible working across time zones as required Preferred/Certifications • SAFe SSM/RTE or SPC; Scrum (PSM-II/III or CSM/CSM-A); Kanban (KMP). • Experience coaching metrics-driven improvement programs. • Exposure to oil & gas or asset-intensive industries is a plus.
