Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires engaging with various project components to ensure that software solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with different teams to understand requirements, developing application features, and refining configurations to optimize performance and usability. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of applications to meet evolving business demands are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the software development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications and application workflows.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve application performance and scalability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, MySQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices.
- Strong experience in developing and deploying scalable microservices-based applications.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within Amazon Web Services environments.
- Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
- Experience with database design, optimization, and query tuning using MySQL.
- Knowledge of application configuration management and deployment automation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
