Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The workday is dynamic, involving collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with the intended business objectives and provide seamless functionality across different operational areas. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are integral to the role, ensuring that solutions remain relevant and efficient.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in problem-solving efforts.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Gen AI Hub.
- Strong experience in application design and configuration within enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving software issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Gen AI Hub.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
