Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing software solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended specifications and user needs. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and efficiency within the organization, as you work to create applications that enhance operational workflows and deliver value to stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development. - Participate in the testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Base & Macros. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM Db2, MySQL, ControlM Administration. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies. - Experience with software testing and debugging techniques. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAS Base & Macros. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
