Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and enhance system performance, ensuring that all applications run smoothly and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system logs, and implement solutions to maintain operational excellence, all while adapting to the evolving needs of the business environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Virtualization Administration. - Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and their applications. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving virtualization-related issues. - Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions in a virtualized environment. - Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for virtual machines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in VMware Virtualization Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
