Summary: We are seeking experienced Manhattan TMS (Transportation Management System) professionals with strong hands-on implementation expertise. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of transportation planning, execution, carrier management, optimization, and integration within Manhattan TMS. Candidates with additional exposure to Oracle, SAP, or Blue Yonder TMS will be given preference. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Manhattan TMS Implementation - Lead or contribute to end-to-end Manhattan TMS implementation cycles – requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. - Configure core modules, including: Transportation Planning & Optimization Load Consolidation & Routing Carrier Selection & Contract Management Execution, Tendering, Tracking Freight Settlement & Audit Perform fit-gap analysis, prepare functional design documents, and drive solution workshops. 2. Integrations & Technical Collaboration - Work closely with technical teams to support integration mapping between TMS and ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan WMS). - Support data migration, interface validation, and system testing. - Collaborate with EDI/API teams for carrier and 3PL integrations. 3. Stakeholder & Client Management - Interact with business users, transportation planners, and IT teams to understand current processes and define to-be workflows. - Provide functional leadership, manage client discussions, and ensure smooth adoption during UAT and go-live. - Lead or guide junior team members (for Lead/Senior roles). 4. Testing, Training & Documentation - Prepare test scenarios, UAT scripts, and validation plans. - Conduct end-user training, create SOPs, and support change management activities. Professional & Technical Skills: - 5 to 15 years of total experience, with minimum 3+ years hands-on implementing Manhattan TMS (Active or On-Prem). - Strong understanding of: - Transportation planning and execution - Carrier contracts, rates, and tariff structures - Logistics network design and optimization logic - Freight audit, billing, and settlement - Experience in functional configuration, troubleshooting, and solutioning. - Ability to work across onshore/offshore models and manage multiple stakeholders. - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manhattan Transportation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with BlueYonder Transportation Management. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Proficiency in system integration and API development. Additional Information: - Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or SAP TM. - Exposure to Blue Yonder TMS or any other transportation platforms. - Knowledge of Manhattan integrations to WMS, OMS, ERP systems. - Understanding of SQL, data analysis, and debugging interface issues. - Experience in Logistics, Retail, CPG, 3PL, or Manufacturing domains. - A 15 years full time education is required.
