Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance through innovative problem-solving.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automation in Application Development.
- Strong expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex software issues within multi-component systems.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools to streamline application support processes.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of incidents.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle management and deployment practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Automation in Application Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
