Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Provide Application Maintenance (L2/L3) and Development (enhancement) support for SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Make manufacturing processes.
-Configure and maintain SAP PP modules (MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders).
-Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
-Work with ABAP developers for Incident resolution, Service Requests, design and implement custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
-Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure compliance.
-Document configurations, processes, and enhancements for audit and knowledge sharing.
-Support end-users on SAP manufacturing functionalities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-10-11 years of experience in SAP Manufacturing with exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
-Strong knowledge of Plan-to-Make processes, including MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Orders.
-Experience in SAP application maintenance and development projects.
-Exposure to integration with MM, SD, QM, and FI/CO modules.
-Knowledge of manufacturing industry best practices and compliance frameworks
-SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Production Planning & Manufacturing in SAP S/4HANA) are highly desirable.

-SAP Fiori apps for manufacturing
