Summary: As an Analytics Practitioner, you will develop business insights using predictive statistical modeling activities. Your typical day will involve utilizing various analytical tools and techniques to generate and enhance decision-making processes by modeling client, market, and key performance data. You will engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Grafana dashboards, user access, data sources, and plugins. - Manage and optimize Prometheus for metrics collection, querying, and alerting. - Configure and maintain Alloy pipelines for telemetry ingestion and transformation. - Integrate and support Private Data Source Connect (PDC) for secure and scalable data ingestion from internal systems. - Administer Loki for centralized log aggregation, indexing, and querying. - Manage Tempo for distributed tracing and performance analysis across services. - Develop and maintain custom dashboards and visualizations tailored to operational and business needs. - Implement alerting and notification strategies using Grafana and Prometheus. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the observability stack. - Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to onboard new services and improve observability coverage. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, visualization, logging, and tracing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proven experience as a Grafana Administrator or similar role. - Strong knowledge of Prometheus, PromQL, and exporters. - Experience with Alloy (formerly OpenTelemetry Collector or similar). - Familiarity with Private Data Source Connect (PDC) and its integration with observability tools. - Hands-on experience with Loki for log management and Tempo for distributed tracing. - Proficiency in Grafana Query Language (GQL) and dashboard templating. - Understanding of telemetry data formats: metrics, logs, traces. - Experience with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python). - Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Experience with cloud platorms (Azure, AWS, GCP). - Familiarity with CICD and DevOps. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Grafana. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
