Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve addressing technical issues, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring that services are running smoothly across different platforms. You will engage in both remote and onsite support, focusing on hardware and software solutions while adhering to defined operating models and processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their technical skills. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. - We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix L3 SME to provide advanced-level support, design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix environments across multiple versions and platforms. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, NetScaler (ADC), and XenServer technologies, with proven experience in managing complex enterprise environments - Perform L3-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for Citrix infrastructure-related incidents and problems. - Design, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 19.12 LTSR CU6 environment, ensuring high availability and performance. - Manage and support Citrix XenServer 7.1 CU2, Citrix XenCenter 7.1 CU2, and legacy XenServer 6.5 infrastructure. - Configure and optimize Citrix NetScaler (ADC) versions 13.1 (55.34/59.19) and 14.1 (47.46) for load balancing, gateway, and remote access. - Support and administer Citrix DaaS 2402 environment, including cloud integration and scalability aspects. - Provide expert-level support for XenApp 6 legacy systems during transition or coexistence. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement Citrix patches, upgrades, and security compliance. - Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and environment health checks. Professional & Technical Skills: -Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops: 19.12 LTSR CU6 -Citrix DaaS: Version 2402 -Citrix XenServer / XenCenter: 7.1 CU2, 6.5 -Citrix NetScaler (ADC): 13.1 (55.34/59.19), 14.1 (47.46) -Legacy Platforms: XenApp 6 administration and troubleshooting -Strong knowledge of Citrix StoreFront, Director, Studio, and Machine Creation Services (MCS). -Expertise in Citrix Profile Management, Workspace Environment Management (WEM), and Citrix policies. -Strong understanding of Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory integration. -Experience with load balancing, SSL certificates, and access gateway configurations on NetScaler. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
