Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on enhancing the overall quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your role includes executing continuous testing efforts that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing processes to support the delivery of robust software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on quality assurance methodologies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and defect tracking to facilitate transparency and continuous learning.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Avaloq Wealth.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of security testing principles and API testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with environment setup and data configuration to support various testing scenarios.
- Ability to analyze code and participate effectively in code review sessions to identify potential quality issues.
- Skilled in monitoring defect trends and contributing to root cause analysis for continuous process improvement.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Avaloq Wealth.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
