Summary: Individuals in this role are expected to lead and guide multiple architecture and design teams or workstreams. This role must support opportunities and engagements as design leads. Infra Engineering Hybrid Cloud Architect role will be leading a team of architects to design architecture patterns for multi-Cloud and hybrid cloud platform that support scalable, secure, and efficient cloud adoption across the enterprise. Individuals on this role will need to ensure the architecture patterns are aligned with general best practices, Security & compliance, and business requirements while enabling cloud-native capabilities and automation. Hybrid Cloud Architect to design and lead enterprise cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private/hybrid platforms (VMware VCF, Nutanix, OpenShift) This role will also be responsible for capability development initiatives, writing Points of View (POVs), white papers, and developing new assets. Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead the design and build Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Cloud platforms and patterns tailored to client needs. • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Design Multi-Cloud Connectivity and Hybrid Network Architectures patterns and ensure successful implementation • Define HA/DR strategies, Security, Compliance, and governance frameworks. • Design and build automation/DevOps frameworks using leading DevOps platforms. • Design observability platform which includes Centralized logs, metrics, & traces for unified observability and Integration architecture with 3rd party tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, ELK, etc. • Design Cloud-native monitoring tailored for AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments • Design Unified Data Foundation Architecture and build. • Lead hybrid & multi-cloud adoption strategies, partnering with CxO stakeholders. • Mentor and guide technical teams, ensuring alignment with organizational future roadmaps. • Act as a trusted advisor on cloud transformation, modernization, and hybrid strategies • Enterprise Strategy & Thought Leadership • Support configuration of AI service integrations such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Google Vertex AI within secure landing zones • Work on agentic automation — integrating infrastructure agents for self-healing, cost optimization, and automated guardrail enforcement Professional & Technical Skills: • Public Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise in Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP & Others. • AWS (Control Tower, Organizations, VPC, IAM, Landing Zone Accelerator). • Azure (Landing Zones, Arc, Azure Policy, Virtual WAN, IAM). • GCP (Landing Zone setup, Anthos, IAM, VPC, Security Command Center) Network & Security: • Expert on design and Build Global Network Strategy, SDN (Software Defined Network), CloudWAN, Azure Virtual WAN, SD WAN, Service Mesh, Global Load Balancer architecture • Experience in running workshop to define the Cloud Foundation Security Framework & Zero-trust design • Should be able to design solution around Cloud Native Security Controls • Experience in designing and implementing Next Gen Firewall (NGFW). Hybrid Cloud platforms • Expert in defining the enterprise Hybrid Cloud Strategy combining VMWare, Nutanix, OpenShift, and hyperscalers Industry Skills • Have worked in client facing roles and has helped in defining the Cloud Foundation Architecture as per Industry/CSP Best Practices (HIPPA, GxP) • Experience in defining the Security Standard for Industry Cloud such as EPIC etc. Automation & DevOps • Expert on automation and DevOps Strategy and implementation. • Hands on experience in IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, ARM, GCP Deployment Manager etc. • Expertise on Python scripting Data Foundation • Expert in design and Build Data Services such as Microsoft Data Bricks, Microsoft Fabric, One Lake, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS redshift, AWS Athena, S3 etc. High Availability and Disaster Recovery • Expertise in HA/DR design, automation, observability, and governance. GenAI & Emerging Technologies • Understanding of Generative AI tools and their applicability within cloud-native ecosystems. • Ability to bridge technical AI concepts with business goals, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment. • Hands-on experience in GenAI (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases) and Agentic AI applications (multi-agent systems, planning, reasoning) – demonstrated through project implementations • Strong fundamental knowledge of AI lifecycle, data analysis, statistical concepts of ML algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning) and AI concepts of NN (Neural Networks) and NLP (Natural Language Processing) • Solid grasp of prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, value realization in AI projects Testing • Define and oversee quality assurance frameworks for landing zone deployments across public and hybrid cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with the approved build sheet and validating compliance, standardization, and operational readiness through automated and manual testing Certifications • Professional certified in at least 2 Cloud platforms. • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional • Azure Architect Expert • GCP Professional Architect • Certified in Private Cloud (Any 1) • VMware VCAP • Nutanix NCAP • Red Hat OpenShift Specialist/RHCA. • Certified in IaC and DevOps technologies (Any 1) • Hashicorp certified terraform associate • Azure DevOps (AZ-400) • Github Actions (GH-200) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Cloud Design and Build. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
