Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the intended business requirements. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration to align technical efforts with organizational goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise during the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project objectives and deliverables with broader organizational strategies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Experience in developing and customizing cloud-based applications using SAP ABAP Cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud application development.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools within SAP ecosystems.
- Competence in performance optimization and code quality assurance for cloud applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
