Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to support clients and projects effectively. The work may span from initial design phases to deployment, ensuring that software solutions align with project goals and client expectations. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is integral to delivering high-quality software that addresses complex challenges and enhances overall system performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document software configurations and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and configuration management.
- Experience with system integration and customization within complex software environments.
- Ability to analyze and optimize software performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software engineering tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
