Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the developed solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes analyzing requirements, developing customized software components, and refining applications to enhance functionality and user experience. Continuous engagement in problem-solving and adapting to evolving business demands is a key aspect of the daily routine, ensuring that the applications remain efficient and effective in supporting business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and user satisfaction.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP modules to align with business processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
