Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions that meet project requirements. The engineer actively monitors progress, addresses challenges, and ensures that the applications are aligned with organizational goals and client expectations, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities CRM.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP for Utilities CRM modules to meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within SAP environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools related to SAP for Utilities CRM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in application design and implementation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities CRM.
- This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
