Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and standards. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, provide guidance to team members, and oversee the implementation of solutions that align with project goals. Your role will also require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance application performance and user experience. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP system build and migration projects (on-premise and cloud). Plan and execute HANA migrations, SAP S/4HANA conversions, and greenfield implementations. Define and enforce landscape architecture standards and transport management strategy. Manage system sizing, HA/DR design, and performance benchmarking. Drive cutover strategy and go-live activities with cross-functional teams. Review and approve technical documentation, scripts, and system build reports. Technical Experience 8+ years in SAP Basis with extensive implementation exposure. Strong in S/4HANA conversion, OS/DB migration, and Solution Manager configuration. Experience in SAP cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in automation scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible) for Basis tasks. Professional Attributes Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams simultaneously. Effective stakeholder communication and risk management. Detail-oriented with emphasis on delivery excellence. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15-year full time education is required.
