Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the desired requirements. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration to align technical solutions with business needs, while managing priorities and timelines effectively. The engineer acts as the central point of contact, guiding the team through challenges and driving the project towards successful completion with a focus on quality and innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from the plan.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Good To Have Skills: Program Project Management, Workday Project Management (PM).
- Strong understanding of Workday application architecture and configuration best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within Workday environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Workday.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools related to Workday Core HCM.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
