Summary: We are seeking a visionary Physics-Based Simulation Architect to lead the design and deployment of advanced engineering simulation solutions across manufacturing and industrial domains. This role demands deep expertise in Multiphysics simulation, first-principles modeling, and digital twin development, combined with strategic leadership in system-level architectures. You will leverage cutting-edge platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, cloud simulation environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and MBSE methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: • Architect simulation methods and solutions across Multiphysics domains (mechanical, thermal, fluid, electrical) while orchestrating cross-domain workflows. • Design and implement pipelines leveraging NVIDIA platform-based simulation tools such as Omniverse, PhysX, Modulus, and Isaac Sim, integrating physics-based rendering, digital twins, and real-time visualization in cloud or hybrid environments. • Leverage cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to automate, scale, and orchestrate simulation workloads. • Apply MBSE methodologies (SysML, Cameo, Capella) to formally align system requirements with model execution. • Implement cross-domain and hybrid simulations by combining discrete-event modeling for factory workflows with physics-based models for engineering processes such as material, fluid, and thermal. • Champion co-simulation architectures, fast-running simulation models, and tool integration across commercial software (ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus) and scripting environments (Python, MATLAB, Modelica). • Lead validation and verification efforts by correlating simulation outcomes with experimental datasets and real-world performance. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding development teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Actively lead and participate in sales pursuits and pre-sales engagements, including discussions and presentations of capabilities and solutions to potential clients and internal stakeholders. • Contribute to industry thought leadership through patents, whitepapers, POVs, proof of concepts, conference and academic presentations, and capability showcases. • Work with global clients and cross-functional teams in a multicultural and distributed environment. Professional & Technical Skills Must-Have Skills: • Deep expertise in physics-based modeling and simulation across multiple engineering domains, with a strong foundation in numerical methods, PDE solvers, continuum mechanics, reduced-order modeling, and real-time co-simulation. • Extensive hands-on experience with commercial simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, MOOSE, LAMMPS, OpenFOAM, and similar platforms. • Proven ability in creating digital twins and developing high-fidelity physics-based visualizations to support real-time simulation and decision-making for industrial applications. • Experience in generating synthetic data to validate and test real-time industrial simulation applications. • Strong background in cloud-based simulation workflows, including automation, orchestration, and deployment of scalable simulation pipelines on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Solid understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), with experience in aligning system requirements, architecture models, and simulation execution using tools like SysML, Cameo, or Capella. • Comprehensive knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and hybrid modeling approaches to simulate discrete manufacturing processes alongside continuous physics-based models. • Significant industry experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, automotive, or aerospace sectors. Good-to-Have Skills: • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB for simulation workflows. • Experience in digital twin development for applications like factory planning, robotics simulation, and predictive maintenance. • Working knowledge of NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim for advanced simulation and visualization. • Familiarity with FMI/FMU standards, OpenModelica, OpenUSD, and robotics simulation frameworks. • Exposure to AI/ML-driven simulation workflows, including Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs), surrogate modeling, and generative AI tools for model creation and behavior prediction. Additional Info: • Cand should have 12 to16+ years of experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Physics, or Ph.D. in related field. • This position is based at Bengaluru/Pune location.
