Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves implementing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes assisting in designing software configurations and customizing solutions to align with business process designs and application requirements. This position requires close collaboration with team members to ensure that software components are properly managed and tailored to meet organizational needs, contributing to the overall success of the project through diligent execution of assigned tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software configurations.
- Maintain documentation related to configuration changes and customizations for future reference.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Continuously monitor and improve configuration processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and best practices.
- Experience in customizing software solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business process designs to implement effective configurations.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques used for software configuration and version control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address configuration-related challenges.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
