Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of each project and creatively developing solutions that align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications not only meet technical specifications but also enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Continuous refinement and adaptation of software components to evolving business demands are integral to the role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Ensure the developed applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data solutions.
- Ability to optimize and manage large datasets efficiently within cloud environments.
- Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting for data manipulation and automation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
