Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your day will involve overseeing the application development process and ensuring seamless communication among team members and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - At least 8 years of experience in application L1/L2 support. - Extensive experience using SQL. - Having proven experience on incident management and root causes analysis. - Having good ability to express and explain with both technical and non-technical terms verbally and in writing. - Solid experience in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Korn, …) and command lines (Linux). - Ability to support multiple applications in parallel. - Experience using Jira, Metis and Confluence tools. - Proven ability to assess priorities and act accordingly. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the application development process - Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders - Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the development lifecycle Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Incident Management, Microsoft SQL Server, Linux - Strong understanding of incident management processes and best practices - Experience supporting applications using Kafka and API. - Experience monitoring CTRL-M jobs. - Understand concepts of IT Production environment and deployment process, - Understand concepts of ITIL. - Experience in working with application monitoring and automation. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving incidents efficiently - Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management tools - Ability to coordinate incident response activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Incident Management - This position is based at our Mumbai office - A 15 years full-time education is required
