Summary: The Smart Instrumentation (SPI) administrator will be responsible for supporting & administering all modules of SmartPlant Instrumentation. He/ She will require significant skills to manage various configurations in SPI and also the ability to work as part of a team. Liaising with other SmartPlant Administrators, database administrator, client teams and application vendor to develop appropriate solutions or required customization to meet client and project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Experience in SPI administration i.e. Reference DB configuration, Reports configuration, User/roles administration and other SPI administration activities - Experience in SPI installation, deployment and environment maintenance - Instrumentation design standards understanding and knowledge - Experience in Import Utility, EDE view Customization, PSR report Customization and Symbols & Template Customization. - Experience in upgrading the tool from lower versions to higher version and should know the steps that are mandatory before performing upgrade. Professional & Technical Skills: - Experience on working in Integrated Environment with SmartPlant Foundation and Publish/ Retrieve of SPI Documents. - Need to have basic SQL/ Oracle Database Knowledge and queries. - Able to solve issues independently. - Ability to analyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Added advantage of having have basic SPPID/ SPEL knowledge. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7 years of Smart Instrumentation experience. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
