Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Role: Cloud Operations Engineer/Database Engineer. Role Description: Should be responsible for creating, configuring and maintaining the Mongo, Aurora and Postgres SQL Database hosted in the AWS cloud platform in line with industry best practice. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge. . Job Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience in Mongo, Aurora and PostgreSQL database administration. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding and knowledge of Mongo, Aurora and PostgreSQL architecture and features, such as its event scheduler, parameter configurations etc. - Database optimization & Database security admin. On-call support based on project agreement. Work closely with affected parties to resolve issues - Install, configure, and maintain Mongo and Aurora databases. - Configure and set the alert metrics for pro-active and reactive monitoring. - Monitor performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues. - Implement security measures and manage user access. - Backup and restore data, as well as perform upgrades. - Design, deploy, and manage Amazon Aurora clusters. - Optimize database performance, including read and write scalability. - Implement backup and recovery strategies. - Ability to carry out DR activities and configure HA and clustering. - Configuration and release management. Ability to document Root cause analysis. Service Delivery per SLAs. - Daily database health check monitoring and fix the issues, if anything related databases. - Ticket handling includes incidents service requests and problem management. - Ability to articulate an issue and be responsive to client, handle client communication. Technical Experience: - Working knowledge of MongoDB Atlas cloud, Aurora and PostgreSQL, AWS working knowledge preferred. - Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. - Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. - Should be well versed on Database migration methodologies. Well versed in Mongo, Aurora and PostgreSQL Patching and upgrades and migration activities - Ability to articulate an issue and be responsive to client, handle client communication. - Ability to carry out DR activities and configure HA and clustering. - Performance Tuning. Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues. - Daily database health check monitoring and fix the issues, if anything related databases. - Ticket handling includes incidents service requests and problem management. - Working with related DB vendor on troubleshooting issues. - Must have one of the DB certifications. Professional Attributes: Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think logically through a problem. Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution, Ability to work in shift patterns and provide out of hours On-Call support. collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. Education Qualification: As per Accenture Standard Mandatory Certification: Database Optional Certification: ITIL, AWS.
