Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications - Act as the primary point of contact - Manage the team and ensure successful project delivery Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veritas NetBackup Administration - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud technologies - Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts - Experience in managing and troubleshooting Veritas NetBackup environments - Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning - Familiarity with storage technologies and backup infrastructure - Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues - Excellent communication and leadership skills Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Veritas NetBackup Administration - This position is based at our Hyderabad office - A 15 years full-time education is required Must have skills: NetBackup, Datadomain Good to have skills: Cohesity, Avamar, Zero data loss recovery appliance (ZDLRA) Roles & Responsibilities: 10-12 years of experience in backup domain. Ready to work in 24*7 environment Strong knowledge & hands on experience on NetBackup Strong knowledge & hands on experience on EMC Data Domain. Install, configure, and maintain NetBackup & Cohesity systems to meet business requirements. Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data across multiple platforms and environments. Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance. Develop and maintain documentation related to backup policies, procedures, and configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backup and recovery operations, escalating as necessary to vendor support. Perform regular system upgrades and patches to keep the backup infrastructure up to date and secure. Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on backup and recovery processes and tools. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises to validate the effectiveness of backup and recovery procedures.
