Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will apply your expertise in technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients and projects. Your typical day will involve leading a team, collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the development and configuration of software systems - Ensure the successful execution of projects - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope - Able to develop the solutions on ThingWorx. - Ability to lead the team efficiently. - Ability to guide and mentor resources. - Client-facing and confidence building capabilities. - Ability to convert business requirements to technical specs. - Documenting detailed functional and technical designs as per business requirements. - Assess risk and identify mitigation plans. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Thingworx - Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Java - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes - Experience in developing and configuring software systems - Knowledge of technologies and applications relevant to the role - Candidates should possess at least 6+ years of experience working with PTC Thingworx Platform. - Extensive experience working with various components of Thingworx platform such as Modeling (Thing Template, Thing Shapes etc.), Visualization (Mashup, Dashboard etc.), Data Storage (Streams, Datable etc.), Collaboration (Wiki, blog etc.), Security (Users, Organization etc.) and systems. - Good working knowledge of Thingworx Navigate and Thingworx Utilities - Good exposure to REST services framework to design and implement inbound/outbound integrations. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts - Good exposure to various communication protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, Web Socket, MQTT, COAP along with KepServerEx and PAT (Protocol Adapter toolkit). - Candidate should have experience designing and developing custom extensions. - Good understanding of agile and SDLC.
