Senior ADC Developer for Patterns and Practice Group ================================================= We are looking for highly motivated senior developers with a diverse technical skillset to help us optimize, build and maintain the next generation of Accenture tooling for our developers. The role is to be part of a small 2-3 person ADC cell that will work with our US Scrum to build, enhance and improve our Evergreen templates. We need personalities that are passionate for technology, curious, and self motivated with strong software development fundamentals. We need people capable of going breaking down high level requirements and asks to a detailed level, executing on it, and reaching out for feedback and alignment. A key component of the job is to be leading thinking around patterns for a larger developer group, so perspective and real-world experience is key here. We should be opinionated about what we think is best and design with it in mind, but our designs should be flexible enough to accommodate reasonable variation in downstream projects. CIO development teams are our customers. Our team is responsible for owning, enhancing and maintaining Evergreen templates for bootstrapping new development for services and UIs and keeping teams current. We support schematics that generate microservice templates for NodeJS and .NET across the 3 clouds, a SPA Angular template for AWS, DevOps and IaC baseline schematics and common build pipelines. We also support ciodeveloper.com and general developer guidance for getting up and running quickly. Skills we are looking for: Experienced working in SAFe agile delivery. Knowledgeable about Cloud 2.0 architecture, terraform, and Evergreen templates. Deep experience with NodeJS, .NET and Angular and able to guide others. Experienced with creating Azure Pipelines and configuring AzureDevOps as well as having strong general DevOps and IaC principles. Mentor and coaching experience. Experienced refactoring and reviewing code and maintaining build quality. Able to quickly turnaround an ask to a prototype and iterate on the feedback. Experience with generative AI development with Azure Open AI and Vector databases as well as GitHub Enterprise is a bonus. In the coming year we’ll be looking expand into some of the following areas: Improving our templates and introducing new patterns and permutations across the clouds (Python services, K8 combinations, event driven templates, etc.) Streamlining rapid development for our customers and bootstrap experience.
