Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. Your role will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform and supporting project or product development. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using the SAS Platform. - Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the cloud environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the platform or environment. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to cloud platforms. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Conduct regular performance monitoring and optimization of the platform. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the platform with other systems. - Document and maintain technical documentation related to the platform and its configurations. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. - Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities in the platform. - Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations. - Collaborate with vendors and external partners for platform-related activities. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. - Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Platform. - Experience with cloud platform deployment and automation. - Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data analytics and visualization tools. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in SAS Platform. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - 15 years of fulltime education is required.
