Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Contribute to the automation and infrastructure-as-code (IAC) initiatives. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions. - Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of the software. - Participate in agile development processes and ceremonies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code (IAC). - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles. - Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with microservices architecture. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Pune office. - An Architect/Professional certifications from GCP/AWS/Azure is required.
