You will be aligned with our Procurement vertical to define and implement Procurement strategy locally for multiple sub-categories within Workplace (Projects and Fit-outs, Facility Maintenance, Security, Office Supplies, Office Services, Energy, etc.,) unique to the MU (India) and that are not managed centrally or regionally. Drive Strategic sourcing initiatives where they are defined centrally by the GCD (Global Category Director), or independently where they are locally owned. • Enact the Category end-to-end Procurement cycle as per company guidelines / Category Plan • Manage supplier performance and contracts for all locally managed categories and sub-categories within the MU whilst also ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction • Manage local key supplier relationships (SRM) • Establish, maintain and manage relationship between multiple Workplace Stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction • Implement and support enforcement of buying and contracting processes • Effectively raise issues/concerns proactively and present options for resolution Possess high level of Category Knowledge to provide Category Trends, Market Benchmarking, Zero Based Budget estimates, conduct market research as needed to be incorporated into Sourcing Strategy and Category Plans What are we looking for? •Ability to manage multiple stakeholders •Ability to establish strong client relationship •Thought leadership •Negotiation skills •Ability to handle disputes REQUIRED SKILLSETS : • Strong and effective decision-making capacity • Effective at interpreting complex and multiple sources of information to make decisions • Strong program management skills • Strong Process Knowledge to help Improve processes and eliminate non-value adding activities • Highly effective collaboration skills • Effective at influencing others, inc. executive management • Proficient knowledge of the Workplace category Procurement Strategies and best practices COMPLEXITY • Posses a highly Strategic and Critical thinking mindset • Requires capabilities for analysis and solving of high complex problems. May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures. • Primary upward interactions with direct supervisors, Regional & Global Category Leads, Sourcing and Execution Teams, . • Good communication and articulation ability to Interact with peers and Stakeholders at Leadership levels at a client place and/or within Accenture. • Ability to influence or complete assignments independently and make decisions. • Posses Accenture Leadership DNA - One who experiments, inspires others, works across boundaries, and adapts to the constant change around us. Roles and Responsibilities: •Developing category strategies and category strategic plans, including initiative plans, for Workplace category, validating them with the Global & Regional Category Lead/s and the respective Business Stakeholders • Conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, including fact based negotiations (supplier and industry analysis. benchmarks, cost structure analysis) within the MU portfolio and ensuring process compliance and high levels of customer satisfaction • Defining supplier management strategy, aligning it with the Global Category Plan & SRM Franchisee Plans and executing strategic supplier relationship management with key local suppliers • Defining P2P (Purchase-To-Pay) strategy for Medium and Low complexity projects and sub-categories, including buying channels, Catalogs, necessary PR/PO compliance checks • Ensure compliance for internal and external audits when necessary • Aligning P2P strategy with Global Category Director / Regional Category Leads to ensure cross-regional standardisation • Supporting global strategic sourcing initiatives or projects (including category strategies and Category Plan definitions) as authorised by the Global Category Director • Identifying supplier risk areas and quantifying risk exposure for regionally and locally managed sub-categories within Category Portfolio and executing risk mitigation actions • The Category Manager is accountable for the direct spend management for the category and savings target achievement for the MU •DELIVERABLES AND ACHIEVABLES: • Delivering relevant KPI targets (e.g. savings targets through strategic sourcing) for locally managed categories as appropriate to local stakeholder needs • Delivering a high C-SAT score on the Stakeholder engagements • TO achieve 100% process compliance and zero audit errors.
